Latest reviews of P’TIT GARCON – LA TRACTOPELLE D’AXEL app for iPhone and iPad
I purchased the App, thinking it was in French as shown in the pictures but it is in English. The false representation is very disappointing.
I just got this app for my son. We love these books IN FRENCH (we are a trilingual family). As it is now, I had to set (and reset) the global language settings for the device (iPod & iPhone, not tested on iPad yet) in order to get the desired language. This is cumbersome and affects other apps I use in English. A highly sought update for the next version (from what I see in the reviews for the other "books" in this collection), would be to include a "settings" tool within your app, where you can switch languages LOCALLY… Or just add an icon to switch languages within the home page of this app. If such add-on is included, I might be more inclined on buying the other "books" of this collection...
Although the graphics are nice and the story is interactive, when I purchased this book, I understood that it was in both English and French. However, I havent yet found how to change languages. I would not have bought this book in English only.
Charged my credit card when it was supposed to be free. Testers beware!!
